An series adaptation of the Himouto Umaru-chan's manga by Doga Kobo scheduled to air on July 8, 2015 on ABC and then Tokyo MX TV, AT-X, and BS-11 on July 12.
2015th Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazineon the 24th issue announced the main cast for the television Himōto! Umaru-chan.
Masahiko Ohta, who worked on Yuru Yuri and Kotoura-san, is directing the series. Takashi Aoshima is the script writer. The character designer and chief animation director is being done by Aya Takano, who did Polar Bear's Cafe. Yasunori Ebina is the Head sound director.
Himōto! Umaru-chan manga is getting a video that Shueisha will include with a "bundled edition" of the manga's seventh compiled volume when it ships on October 19th. The OVA will feature an episode that will not be aired on TV, with the television adaptation of the manga. The TV series' main cast, staff, and studio Doga Kobo will return for the OVA. The bundle will retail for 3,400 yen (about US $27), and the pre-order deadline is August 31.
So far, the series has 12 episodes.
